Jersey City Pride - August 22

Show Jersey City your true colors at their 26th annual pride march and festival in the heart of historic Downtown Jersey City. It is conveniently located mere steps away from the Grove Street PATH station. Parking is limited. If you are driving, you are encouraged to download the “Spot Hero” app to inquire about parking availability and rates. Details are as follows:

Saturday, August 22, 2026, Grove Street Path Plaza. Times TBA. The celebration begins with the Equality March and concludes with the Jersey City Pride Festival.

At a time when LGBTQ+ visibility and hard-won progress face renewed challenges nationwide, this year’s Festival theme is “Show Your True Colors — Now More Than Ever.” It is a celebration and a call to action—affirming visibility, authenticity, and community presence as essential values. 

GOAL members and supporters who wish to attend the march and/or the festival are encouraged to register their intent to participate in this event by registering on our Pride Events Survey. New York members who are participating in uniform are required to notify their Department of their intent to march in uniform outside the confines of their geographical area of employment. GOAL will formally request permission for NYPD members to wear their uniform outside of the city.
