Pride Events
GOAL is participating in pride events between May 30th and June 28th. We request that all GOAL members complete a short survey to help us gauge participation.
The NYPD has an Administrative Guide procedure for attending fraternal events and parades on job time at the discretion of their commanding officer. Please contact your commanding officer or administrative office if you would like to participate in an event on job time prior to asking GOAL for assistance. There are a limited number of excusals for the Queens Pride Parade and 1PP Pride. If you get an excusal, you will be assigned to Employee Relations for your tour and are working the event. You will be expected to set up and break down the event.

May 30 (Sat) - Staten Island Pride Fair: 1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, 1200 hours (GOAL Tee/Polo).
June 6 (Sat) - Kiki Coalition Youth Pride: Pier 84, Manhattan @ 44th St and 12th Avenue, Serving food from 1200 - 1600 hours (GOAL Tee/Polo).
June 7 (Sun) - Queens Pride Parade: Jackson Ave and 39th Street, Jackson Heights, 1100 hours Muster, 1200 hours Step Off (Class A Dress Uniforms).
June 9 (Tues) - 1PP Pride Celebration: One Police Plaza Auditorium, Manhattan, 1700 hours Doors Open, 1800 hours Program Begins (Class A Dress Uniforms) - This takes the place of the regular General Membership Meeting.
June 13 (Sat) - Brooklyn Twilight Parade: 5th Avenue and Douglas Street, Brooklyn, 1830 hours Muster, 1930 hours Step Off (GOAL Tee/Polo).
June 27 (Sat) - Harlem Pride Festival: 12th Avenue and W 133 Street, Manhattan, 1200 - 1700 hours (GOAL Tee/Polo).
June 28 (Sun) - GOAL Block Party: W 20th Street btwn 5th & 6th Ave, Manhattan, 1200 - 2100 hours (Casual Clothes. Free for GOAL members).
