AIDS Walk—Join us to raise money to put an end to AIDS
For 2019, the 50th anniversary of Stonewall and the gay liberation movement, GOAL is proud to field a team for the annual AIDS Walk. AIDS Walk is the largest single-day AIDS fundraising event in the world! It's a great opportunity for GOAL NY to gain even more visibility within the Community and fund raise to support the Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) and other HIV/AIDS service organizations. Since it's a charity event, participating does mean raising funds. Members who participate should set a fundraising goal and can work toward achieving that goal through donations from our families, friends, and communities. It won't be a daunting task because we have the support of each other and GMHC. The Executive Board will be participating, and so should you! WHEN Sunday, May 19, 2019 Sign-in opens at 0830 hours. The Walk begins at 1000 hours.
